For my husband and I, this is a non-negotiable. Every Sunday the alarm goes off at 5.30am and we head to the beach. He kayaks out in the surf and I go for a long run along the water, then we head to our favourite café for breakfast, and finish the morning off wandering through the markets and picking up local, seasonal produce for the week.
Set yourself up for a Sunday morning win by planning some fun early exercise – whether it’s a run along the beach, laps in an outdoor pool, a walk in a national park, an ocean swim, morning yoga, a gym class, anything to move your body. Then follow it up with a well-deserved treat – a new breakfast café, whole food markets or a fresh bagel place.
